The tools listed on this site have been made available through the cooperation of many different organizations, groups, and agencies from both the public and private sectors. Several of these tools have been formally validated; they are indicated in the description. Others have not been validated, but have been developed by experienced researchers and program planners, using tested questions of others, expert reviewers, and pre-testing to guide their development. If a study has been validated it is necessary to include all the questions in order to retain the validity. .
